I am proud to serve patients in our community. Through continuing education and state-of-the-art equipment, we are able to offer you and your family the high level of care you’re looking for. My team at Hometown Dental and I will give you a warm welcome and our ongoing commitment to your dental health.
I am very passionate about dentistry. I strive to do for you what I would do for any of my friends or family; always giving you the care you deserve.
I live in Greencastle with my wife Emily, a Greencastle High School and DePauw University graduate; 13-year-old daughter, Eleanor; 11-year-old son, Charles; and 8-year-old son, Michael. While not in the dental office, I spend my time working outside in the yard, hiking local trails and traveling.
About Dr. FUNKE

Doctorate Degree: DDS, Doctor of Dental Surgery
Dr. Funke is excited to have joined the Greencastle Hometown Dental team. She moved back to her home state, Indiana, from Arkansas after completing a one-year advanced training program.
Dr. Funke attended the University of Louisville for dental school, where she was involved in student leadership and served on a mission trip in Jamaica to provide dental care. Dr. Funke is a proud Boilermaker alumnus!
When Dr. Funke isn’t with patients, you might find her with her partner in crime, Adam, or other members of her large family. (Her mom has seven siblings, and her dad has five!) She loves curling up with a good book (shout out to any other Harry Potter fans), staying healthy through fitness, and exploring new cities.

Comprised of some of the hardest working people around, Rachel, Tara, Teresa and Ashley are dedicated to not only providing patients with the best hygiene care possible, but educating them as well.
Our patients are truly amazed at the thorough hygiene care we provide that goes well beyond what is typical. Our hygienists take time and care to provide extraordinary cleanings, as well as to promote proper oral health.
It is the goal of our Hygiene Team and our practice at large to keep patients healthy and happy for a lifetime.
Administrative Team

Our dedication shows from the moment the Administrative Team greets patients in our spacious, homey reception suite.
In addition, our well-trained team of Kristene, Regan and Lois set up appointments, keep accounts up-to-date, work with insurance companies and so much more in an effort to make the patient’s experience as pleasant and stress-free as possible.
Taking care of patients is at the cornerstone of everything we do at our practice and the Administrative Team takes this to heart on a daily basis.
